The last few months leading into the US’ presidential election definitely saw a slowdown in real estate photography, at least here in the Midwest. There is always a normal pre-holiday slowdown. Few people want to be moving on Christmas Day, after all. However major elections also cause people (individuals and businesses alike) to hold their breath.
This year, starting about 10 days after the election it seemed everyone stopped holding their breath and let out a sigh of relief.
Much as with the stock market, real estate seems to be moving with increased vigor as well. December, was the first time ever that Torben Photography was almost 100% booked for the month.
Both residential and commercial clients came to life. However commercial activity has been far stronger with numerous shopping malls requesting photography services.
If you’ve been thinking about selling your real estate interests of late, you certainly will not be alone.
